No. SVR Lab runs in your browser — no downloads, no drivers, no toolchain setup.

Which boards are supported?+

Arduino Uno/Nano/Mega, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi Pico, STM32 BluePill, and Micro:bit v2.

Can I export code to a real board?+

Yes. Your sketches are standard Arduino C++ and compile against the matching physical board.

Is there a free tier?+

Yes. The Starter plan includes the full simulator, three saved projects, and free courses.

Do certificates expire?+

No. Certificates are permanent and publicly verifiable with the code printed on them.

Can I use SVR Lab for my class?+

Yes. The Teams plan includes an instructor dashboard, cohort analytics, and SSO.

How accurate is the simulation?+

We simulate digital and analog I/O, PWM, ADC, common protocols, and timing. It is not cycle-accurate but it is sufficient for the vast majority of educational and prototyping work.
